Devon & Moriah's Wedding

So I'm finally getting around to blogging about this wedding which occurred just over 2 months ago! The Holiday season sort of threw me off of my groove, so here I am now finally starting to catch up.
There were seriously tons of fun/beautiful pictures. So it's a long post, even though I still left a bunch out. Enjoy!
The more and more I do weddings, the more I realize that every wedding can be SO different! Most of the time I surprise myself with what we get. Sometimes I have specific pictures in mind, but most of the time it turns out different and even better because of the various personalities that the couples have, and also their unique connection between one another also drastically effects the way their pictures turn out. I just love it. I get nervous every time, but I still just love being surprised.
Moriah & Devon were so tender with one another during their temple pictures. "Moments" between them just seemed to happen naturally.

For some reason I just love this winter tree (of course the beautiful couple make it look awesome!)

Yep, another one of those moments which surprised me with it's tenderness

Ok, so these two were so lucky because they have both Fall & Winter all in the same temple pictures! (Thanks to the day-before snow storm which was partially melted on this day)

AND we had the most coolest clouds ever that day!

My personal fav :)

On to the Reception at the Sun River Gardens

Haha! This one just has some personality

Haha! These guys were all pretty funny together!

Sister attack!!

Yep, she's the only daughter in the family. All 5 brothers are there to protect her:

Ok, so this was cool. They had the ingredients needed for their guests to make their own 'smores. And even had the mini-grills to roast the marshmellows! So unique (and fun for the kids!)

We got lots of tender dancing pictures

Dad's turn!

It looks like some of the women are gonna fight over the bouquet

A flying catch!

Ok, so I have never seen such a huge cake fight before with a Bride & Groom. These were just too awesome not to post! It was such a hilarious sequence:

Make sure to look at #7 very closely. He is being sneaky and reaching into the cake, ready for the second attack! She didn't quite see it coming.

But she soon got him good!

And they both were pretty good sports about it all :)

I hope you enjoyed these fun and beautiful pictures! I sure had fun capturing their day!

Remember: The 2009 drawing is still going on and will end this Thursday (Jan15), if you haven't already, make sure to leave a comment with your email on the post below for the chance to win a free session! Thank you so much to all of you who have already left sweet comments!

Okay, favorites:
I LOVE your personal fav, too, the tender moment. And, the dip kissing one with the whole family has gorgeous colors and contrast. I love the one of the girls from above. And, I love the sequence of the cake fight! That's pretty much what I have planned for my own wedding :) What an awesome sequence, though.

I was wondering how you got the fall leaves and the snow all on the same day. I thought you used some tricky photo shop secrets. I loved how their personality really came out in this wedding. The fun with the cake as well as the tender moments with each other. I loved the family picture at the beginning. So original.
