Young Women Temple Pictures

This Young Women group had an activity where they came and had their pictures taken in front of the temple. Their stake theme is centered around temples, and their Stake President encouraged everyone to have their picture taken in front of the temple and frame the picture somewhere in their home where they can see it everyday to help remind them of their goal to go to the temple. I think that is an awesome idea, and I really enjoyed being with these young women. This was actually the ward I was in before I graduated and got married. So some of the young women who are Laurels now, were my little Beehives when I was in Young Womens. It was so much fun! I also love being around the temple and on its sacred grounds.

Here are some of the young women. They are all so beautiful!

Family Ka.

Doesn't she have the most gorgeous eyes? She is such a beautiful mom!

Time to swing!

Their little girl was just too cute!
This family was so much fun! This location has been used before by their brother and his family. This is just one of their relative's back yard!! Amazing, huh? It is so diverse in what you can do, and it was really fun for their little girl to play. Maybe too fun. She loved walking up and down those steps. She was definitely an active one! We had perfect weather and lighting which made for a great shoot! Too many favorite pictures to choose from!
Stay tuned for some fun new products! Things you can do with all these fun beautiful family pictures!

Baby Blake - in the hospital

My good friend Tiffany had her baby at 25 weeks! Baby Blake weighed 1 lb 11 oz at birth. It is really a miracle that with our doctors and technology today, we are able to help babies like Blake survive at this very young age. I had the wonderful opportunity to go take some pictures of him. He has now reached the 3 lb. mark which is awesome! He is doing really good, it's all just a matter of time and gaining weight before he is able to come home to his family. Let me introduce to you Baby Blake . . .

This is the second time that Tiffany was able to do skin-to-skin with Blake. It was neat to be able to be there and observe the beautiful connection between a new baby and new mommy.

This is Blake's daddy's wedding ring. The doctor said that if we had gotten the pictures when he was first born, it probably could have fit all the way up to his thigh! I would have loved to get that picture! But this still shows how teeny tiny his little foot is. More pictures of Baby Blake to come!!!
If you know anyone who has a baby born this early and would like some hospital pictures of their baby, please let me know. It is just a short session, and I am very sensitive to what they feel comfortable doing with their baby. These sessions are at no cost. I want the parents to have some beautiful professional pictures of their baby at home while they are waiting and waiting for their baby to finally come home with them.
Happy Memorial Day!

The New Updated Website - May

It's here, it's great, it's updated! I have been saving some of my favorites from photo shoots just for this moment . . . the galleries are filled with new pictures, some of which you have not yet seen (even if you do check my blog everyday ;) If you are still waiting for your session to be delivered to you, check the galleries because there might be a couple more that were not posted on the blog! Also the pricing for sessions has now been officially raised for those who have not yet scheduled their photo session yet, so please check the "Investment" link on the portraits site to see the updated prices.
The story behind the above picture . . . I was bored while giving him a bath, and he was having a blast splashing EVERYTHING (I was careful with the camera luckily)! When I finally decided to get the camera out, I got some cute pictures of his adorable, water-splashed face!

Family W.

Do you know what she's thinking? . . .

Yep, she thought the flower looked tasty!

Wrestle Time! Pile on Dad!

Aren't they such cute kids?!!!

Then we headed over to the temple for some family pictures

This family was so fun! Recognize the baby? She is one of the babies on my website (in the blue tu-tu sleeping). It is definitely starting to get warm! The summer is such a fun time to take pictures with all the green! They are such a cute family!
The updated website is coming soon (within the next couple days!), and there will be some surprise pictures from this session as well as some of the more recent ones too (that you haven't seen on the blog)! Coming soon!

Joshua and Jacob

Wouldn't he make a great GAP model?!

We got him to smile!

Oh you got to love brothers!

Tickle! Tickle!

I love this one because it speaks childhood!
It makes me want to go lay on the grass!

Oh he is so cute!

Boys will be boys!

Again, boys will be boys!

Yep for those of you who don't already know . . . these two sweeties are my youngest brothers! They are sooo active, so we were lucky to get some good pictures of them. It was really thanks to my mom for entertaining them while I snapped some pictures. She kept telling them funny stories to keep them interested. They are such good little uncles to my little boy and they love playing with him. There are more pictures to come of these cute guys!
For all of you who are anxious to receive all your pictures, I am working hard to finish them all! I got hit by the photography train all in one week, and I'm just recovering. Luckily this week is a little slower so I can get caught up! Stay tuned for the VERY updated new website!
