Baby Natalie

This little sweetie came in for pictures at 7 days old. Seriously, that's the perfect age! Still soooo sleepy! And I just love her cute hair! So beautiful! Well meet sweet Natalie!
Yep I'm loving my brand new camera! My already nice lenses work even better with the full frame camera. Can get even closer . . . to those cute little toes!

These next few are specifically for daddy who has not met his sweet little girl yet. He has recently joined the military and wasn't able to get time off to see his sweet family with their new addition. I kind of hope his heart melts when he sees these pictures of his darling girls!

And daddy is a cowboy! He really wanted one of his little girl with his hat. We were lucky to get this picture at the very end when Natalie had about had it! :) But too sweet!

"I love you daddy!"

Talk about Hot Mamma! You're beautiful Calli!

And of course my very favorite:

Thanks for bringing sweet Natalie in for pictures! She is a doll and so beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think!

Shawna

Sometimes life leads you on paths you never expected. Sometimes life throws curve balls. Sometimes life is exciting, thrilling, fun . . . sometimes there's sunshine or rain. But through it all, life should always be beautiful. Despite and because of it all.

I'm just glad that my family's life brought us to meet this wonderful woman and her children several years ago. My mom and her are the dearest of friends and I'm so grateful. I have spent some wonderful time with her girls and they've made my life so much better.

Meet Shawna. Someone who truly has and continues to change the world through small acts of kindness and love. Someone who is truly beautiful on the inside and definitely on the out! Shawna just completed her 3rd . . . yes let me repeat . . . her 3rd marathon this past Monday! She is a very determined person and has accomplished way more than the average person, and I'm not sure she knows that. But she should. It was a neat experience being with her to take these pictures and for me to celebrate the person she is and to try and capture that in a picture. A picture or pictures could not capture who she really is. But at least I tried! Shawna is a very down-to-earth kind of person. A person who is spunky, fun, smart, beautiful, athletic, talented, and who really tries to get to know people for who they really are.

Love ya Shawna! I hope you know how wonderful you truly are and how many lives you have touched by them knowing you!

You can conquer the world!

Melissa's Bridals

I had so much fun taking these bridals! Melissa's neighbors had this awesome backyard, and they graciously allowed us to take pictures here for her bridals, and also to use their living room for some awesome piano pictures!
Um this first picture . . .yep my very favorite! She reminds me of a real princess.
Enjoy!

Remember the story of how Melissa met Tyler? Well we went to the exact room where they first met to the 2nd part of her bridals. As I said before, Melissa is an accomplished pianist, and the night they met, she was sitting at this piano playing, while Tyler sat on the couch to the right of her when he first saw her.

End with another fav which is just barely different from the first picture.

You're so beautiful Melissa! It was a blast hanging out with you and taking your bridals!

Check back for pictures of their wedding in June!

Wedding Albums - Now Offering!

It's long past due time to share this great album that I made for one of my December weddings. For a very short time I was offering albums. Honestly, I didn't know if I could do one or not, but why not try it? Well this couple decided to get that package, and so I had the fun, exciting adventure making a flush mount album for them. And let me tell you . . . I did not want to mail it to them! I wanted to keep it for myself! Haha! Yeah . . .well after a long sigh, I did put it in the UPS box and mailed it, but not before I took some pictures of it. Of course my pictures don't do justice to a beautiful leather book with the beautiful, glistening, thick pages of the book. But bear with me . . . just know that I was never cut out to be a stock photographer. Well I never wanted to be any ways. A picture just isn't a picture to me without people in it! (well at least my pictures)

So here . . . bask with me in the beauty of this book! Also this is mostly for the benefit of the brides I'm working with now. I'm offering these books at a very low cost to my current brides while building my album portfolio.

This is a 10x10 inch leather flush mount album book with 20 sides (10 pages).

Look at the nice thick pages. Good and sturdy.

Oh yes! This next page was my very favorite!!! One huge picture spread across both pages. That's the glory of these books!

There is just a 1/16 inch seam between the picture which in my opinion does not distract from the picture.

This next one also turned into one of my favorite pages.

Let's compare sizes now, shall we? :)

Compare the huge 10x20 inch picture with the 4x6 inch print. Big difference? Oh yeah . . .

So there are the couple of pictures I took of the beautiful album. Here are a couple other favorite spreads that I made for this book.

(Disclaimer: of course my logo and watermark are not apart of the book. )

The front cover:

Um . . . this next one . . . perhaps one of my other favorites (yeah they all were pretty much favs)

And the last side of the book to end it all.

These albums are so great for those who love to display their wedding images as true art. I design each to match the feel and mood of the wedding. For each page (2 sides), I like them to look clean and fresh and not too cluttered. So besides a few collage looking ones, I will use 1-4 pictures per page. The pages will also be printed through a professional printing lab so they will be in their true colors.

I think these books are a great investment, especially when most people just tuck away their pictures in a box somewhere, unorganized, to only look at after a long time. These albums are meant to tell a story through the photography that you invested so much in for that special day, and to help bring back the emotions and happiness you felt and shared in with your family and friends.

Ahh . . . yep. Maybe for my next anniversary I'll make an album with our wedding pictures.

Well thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
