Jayden - small sneak peek!

Ok, so I posted this sneak peek to his parents just in case they are looking. A couple days ago, I had a wonderful session with this little guy! I will tell you more about him in my next post because I have a great idea in mind for my preview for his pictures, but it'll take me a day or two longer, so you'll all just have to be patient and wait!
I just love this picture! I know that it's a little more serious, but there's just something about it like the expression, the lighting, colors, just something that I love! Anyways, hope you enjoy, and check back in a day or two for his real post!

Erica's Bridals

On Saturday, I had lots of fun hanging out with Erica! It was definitely a hot day, so we're glad we spent some of the time indoors! Erica, as well as the sky, looked amazing! Even though her fiance was not planning on being in any of the pictures, he and Erica's friend, were such a big help! But I still stole of picture of the groom! I have been trying out some new tones and some vintage looking actions on my pictures. I think it gives mood to the pictures, but please comment and let me know what you think! Enjoy the pictures of this beautiful bride!

So cute!

This one's for you Weston:

You are so gorgeous Erica! I am so excited to photograph your wedding next month!

Wendy's Maternity

Yeah so here are lots more! I had WAY too many favorites! The only bad thing about doing two different locations on two different days, is that she gets lots of pictures, and I only hope that I can edit them all before her baby comes! So I posted a bunch so she could enjoy some of them while she waits for her pictures to get done. Enjoy!
I LOVE this next one of you two. At least you can have a nice picture of you both where you don't look pregant ;)

Got to love the effects that pregancy has on your feet!

Ok, so I know Wendy because we were in Women's Chorus at BYU together! And let me tell you . . . She is a hoot!!! She is so funny and always makes me laugh! I have so much fun being around her. During the shoot she kept pulling funny faces! Here are a couple, but Wendy be prepared for when you get your pictures . . . lots of cute, funny faces!

So my husband did not get what message we were trying to put across in this picture. So for you who are like him, she's was looking at her watch, and she's thinking, "When is this baby ever gonna get here!"

Then my last two favorites:

Love you both tons! I hadn't seen Wendy since before she was married, so it's been fun for me to meet her sweet husband and see how cute they are together, married, and pregnant! I know you'll love your pictures! Hopefully I'll get them to you soon!

Baby Lauren

Here is sweet little Lauren. It was so much fun for me to try some outdoor pictures too. Those picts have a vintage feel to them which I really like. As you may have noticed, Lauren was born with 12 fingers and 12 toes, which is genetic. To the babies who are born this way, doctors may remove the extra toes and fingers between 4-6 months old. So I think that it is neat that we captured that before she'll be "like everyone else." I'm really glad that her mom brought her in when she did at 2 weeks. Babies just loose that newbornness too fast! Baby Lauren is just so sweet!

Outdoor Newborn Session

Here's a sneak peek of Baby Lauren! I couldn't help but fall in love with this first picture! Binky and all! We had tons of great pictures, which I'll showcase later, but I just had to share one of my newest ideas. My aunt just gave this to me last night, I looked at it and said, "That's it?" referring to the size of it. I thought that there was no way a newborn could fit in there, but sure enough, little Lauren looked too cute in it!
For all of you Mothers having babies this summer, now is the time we can do outdoor newborn sessions. The weather is perfect and warm enough that it's fine taking the baby out. So for the next month and a half, maybe two, is the only time we can do these fun outdoor sessions. And, no the whole session is not outside, most of it is inside, but it's fun bringing baby out for pictures that look like this! If you are wanting your baby photographed in the next month or two, please give me a call as soon as possible because August is already pretty full, so I'd need to plan ahead in order to squeeze you in!
Well stay tuned for more of Baby Lauren! She was such a great baby and slept a lot! I love those babies who love binkies! Always have pretty good luck with them!

Expecting . . .

So I finally figured out (well actually my husband), how to make the pictures bigger on blogger! I think it really adds a lot to the pictures! I wish I could do it with all my past pictures, but that'd be a lot of work . . . maybe someday.
Well today I did a maternity session with one of my friends and her husband. I didn't have a lot of time to edit all my favs, but we're also doing a mini outdoor session too later this week, so I figured that I would just post one picture which really stood out to me. Even as I took this picture, I loved the emotion behind it. They are going to be really great parents, and they are both really excited for this little guy to join their family.
More to come later this week . . .

Cade & Hayli's Engagements

So now that I put these pictures bigger, it is more visible what resizing pictures does sometimes with the coloring! The coloring isn't going to be this red and orange. Don't worry, I'm on a mission to fix the way the pictures appear on Blogger sometimes! Well back to the original post:
I had so much fun with these two! We did a big variety of different looks: both the urban and the garden look. They were totally up for anything! I had lots of fun talking with them and getting to know them. They are such a beautiful looking couple, so of course it made my job way easy! I am really excited to photograph their wedding in September!

Calli & Casey

Calli & Casey were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti temple today. They have been married for exactly a year and a half now, so it was neat that they were sealed today.

They were so fun to be around! Their happiness was contagious! It was my first time photographing at the Manti temple, and I fell in love with the beautiful grounds, architecture, and special spirit found there. I did get a good workout on that big hill though! I had tons of fun getting to know Calli and Casey. I'm so glad that I was able to be apart of their special day!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July to everyone! May you find happiness being with the ones you love the most!
