Boys, Boys, Boys!

I have just had the cutest little boys to work with lately! So sweet! These first two, seriously made my job sooo easy and fun! Both were just full of smiles! The last picture is of my little guy. He is a happy guy, but it's hard to get him to hold still for more than two seconds in front of my camera. But after one of these sessions, I gave it a go and I at least got one really cute one of him! Well more of these cute boys coming up soon!

Oh yeah, and I've also discovered that my wood floor is actually my favorite backdrop vs. actual ones that I got. Just more natural and so flattering on skin (especially baby skin!). I'm glad my husband, John convinced me to get wood floor instead of carpet. I never knew it'd come in handy with my photography!

Well till next time . . . Have a great day!

Melissa & Tyler's Engagements

Tyler walked into the room one Sunday evening. Multitudes of people all around and socializing. He didn't know he'd meet someone important this evening. Once the opening song started, his eyes slowly moved to the piano where a girl he hadn't met yet, sat at the piano. Whether it was a small voice in his head or his curious interest, he knew he should meet her when he got his chance.
Melissa was charmed by this good looking guy, but wasn't so easy to catch since she was waiting for a missionary who wouldn't be home for a couple years. But sometimes life takes us in a direction we don't expect and to meet people who will change our lives for the better. That's what Tyler came to mean to Melissa.
And here they are now! Engaged. Happy. Ready to seal their love and be together . . . forever.
Meet Tyler and Melissa!

Melissa's musical talents were evident from day one, but Tyler happens to also be musical too and loves to serenade Melissa when he gets the chance.

"Melissa and Tyler sitting in a tree: K I S S I N G!"

Don't mind me . . . I couldn't resist singing it! :)

Melissa has the sweetest laugh and smile! I loved the candids we got!

Melissa and Tyler - I'm so excited to be working with you and to get the chance to photograph your wedding in June!

Well I'm sure having fun telling all these fun engaged couples' stories. I hope I'm getting it close. I felt more connected to Melissa and Tyler as they told me their story because mine was similar to how I met my husband, except I wasn't playing the piano.

Any ways, more fun stuff to come soon! Let me know what you think!

Allyson & Katelyn

Aren't these two so cute? Big sister Allyson has been photographed by my camera before. And now they have another addition! They were both so great to play and work with! So cute! Little girls are just so fun!

Here's a cute smiley one to make up for the cute/funny grumpy picture I posted as their sneak peek ;)

Little Katelyn even fell asleep for us! It's not often a 2 month old will do that, but we got some great pictures from that!

And then she woke up very happy!

Thanks for bringing your two cute sweeties by so I could photograph them! They are both very sweet!

Rob & Blythe Engagements

Rob had been waiting for this evening to arrive. The evening when he would be able to ask his sweetheart, Blythe, a very important question. Of course there was one problem . . . the ring had been delayed from showing up from the Californian jeweler. So Blythe was kept in suspense of when that important evening would arrive. When Rob asked her if she'd like to take a walk around the Tabernacle, she didn't suspect anything until she saw the roses that Rob had previously placed near the stairs of the Tabernacle. Then she knew it was the moment she'd been waiting for. The moment when she could tell Rob that she did in fact want to spend the rest of eternity with him.
Well on another special evening, we were able to return and capture their love in a special way. The only way that can freeze that moment in time. The looks of love and adoration given to one another are priceless.

Haha! Yeah loved this one!

Something a little different.

Wow, isn't Blythe just absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Her look and aura is so classic and beautiful!

I loved this last one for some reason. Just tender :)

Baby Belinda

Well since this sweety is close to a month old now, it's about time I post her picts! This is my sweet niece! She surprised all of us by coming out at 9 lbs 11 oz! And as proof as to how small my sister was while pregnant with this 9 pounder, I'm doing a combined maternity/newborn post. This maternity session was done a week before she delivered, and was a thrown together mini session at the last minute. It was actually comical to me since I was in a skirt and high heels. And for those of you who've seen me take pictures, know that it's hard for me to stay in one position at once. So it was a challenge for me, but we still got some of the shots I wanted.

Well so as I was putting the pictures together that I wanted to post, I found pairs with corresponding themes.

Pair 1: Very proud big sister!

Pair #2: Parents

Pair #3: Tender moment between sisters

Pair #4: A beautiful mother!

Pair #5: Kisses

Pair #6: Jaw Dropping

Ok so that's it! Here are a couple more of just Belinda. One of my favs is saved though for my upcoming updated website (soon! If I can find the time to update it)
