Donna & James' Engagements/Bridals!

I had so much fun with these two! I post the above picture first because they seriously were laughing and having a wonderful time the whole time! It was so cute! These two are very proud grandparents already, but they still were so cute together as an engaged couple!

Now the picture below was so special. Donna kept laughing and crying and I asked her if everything was ok, and she said that she was just crying out of happiness because it was so special that they were having pictures taken together. She explained that neither of them had ever done something like this before with their previous spouse, and so it was so special to her! I hope she doesn't mind me sharing that, but I just thought it was so neat that I could capture that special first experience and the love that they have for one another.

Nathan & Lisa are Married!!!

Nathan and Lisa are married now!!! It's actually been almost a month, but better late than never!! It was a wonderful day! Cold, but wonderful! I did just the temple pictures, and came a tiny bit early to the reception to do a mini session of the two of them. Then it was time to put away the camera for me and enjoy being with family! Actually I was mostly chasing my son around the whole reception center because he's no longer at the stage where he is just happy sitting on my lap :) Oh well.

Enjoy the pictures! They both were so awesome to brave the cold! I think we got some incredible pictures! (and of course I'm holding a couple of my absolute favs for the website which I know I keep saying is coming soon, but seriously, it's my goal this next coming week, as well as get caught up on the blog. Which do you all think is more important?)

No out of the ordinary color enhancement was done on these sky pictures. It really was that dark. Isn't it weird how if you take a picture of the sky from one direction, it's really blue, and from another it can be totally white (like right at the sun!) It's interesting.

I had so much fun doing this family! Carrie found me through Craig's List a while back when I was first starting out, and I'm so glad she did! We just hit it right off from that first newborn session! It's days like those which make me so glad I do what I do! I meet so many wonderful friends! I just love it!

Well here are a bunch of family pictures! It was freezing this day, and they all were such troopers to brave the cold! But group huddles help keep everyone nice and warm! Gabe gets the center of all the warmth and love!:
