Marissa & Enoch - Groomal Session

Here it is . . . another awesome groomal session (but of course there are always fun pictures of the bride, herself). Marissa was absolutely stunning! She was one of those brides who just radiates beauty and goodness. It was so fun to work with her and her groom. These two are now happily married. I was sad that I wasn't available to do her wedding in December, but on that day I was in California having fun photographing Susan & Ryan's wedding! But I was so happy that Marissa decided to do a groomal session with me even though I wasn't available for their special day. It was so fun and we got TONS of awesome pictures. I was a little picture happy that day ;) But how could I not have been? Gorgeous couple, beautiful day . . . just too perfect!

Devon & Moriah's Wedding

So I'm finally getting around to blogging about this wedding which occurred just over 2 months ago! The Holiday season sort of threw me off of my groove, so here I am now finally starting to catch up.

There were seriously tons of fun/beautiful pictures. So it's a long post, even though I still left a bunch out. Enjoy!

The more and more I do weddings, the more I realize that every wedding can be SO different! Most of the time I surprise myself with what we get. Sometimes I have specific pictures in mind, but most of the time it turns out different and even better because of the various personalities that the couples have, and also their unique connection between one another also drastically effects the way their pictures turn out. I just love it. I get nervous every time, but I still just love being surprised.

Moriah & Devon were so tender with one another during their temple pictures. "Moments" between them just seemed to happen naturally.

For some reason I just love this winter tree (of course the beautiful couple make it look awesome!)

Ok, so these two were so lucky because they have both Fall & Winter all in the same temple pictures! (Thanks to the day-before snow storm which was partially melted on this day)

Ok, so this was cool. They had the ingredients needed for their guests to make their own 'smores. And even had the mini-grills to roast the marshmellows! So unique (and fun for the kids!)

Ok, so I have never seen such a huge cake fight before with a Bride & Groom. These were just too awesome not to post! It was such a hilarious sequence:

Make sure to look at #7 very closely. He is being sneaky and reaching into the cake, ready for the second attack! She didn't quite see it coming.

But she soon got him good!

And they both were pretty good sports about it all :)

Kickin' Off 2009 with a Drawing!

A BIG THANK-YOU to all of my clients of 2008! Without you, I never could have progressed with my photography and my business as rapidly as I have. It is amazing to look back on all of the experiences that have led me to be where I'm at right now. I really appreciate all the support and trust my clients placed in me to capture their memories and moments. As a beginner photographer back in January 08, I only ever daydreamed about doing a wedding some day. When I got the opportunity to photograph my aunt's wedding that February, I was thrilled and set a very small goal of trying to do maybe 3 weddings in that year (and that was a huge goal for me as a begginner). In April 08, as I started accomplishing that goal qucikly, I bumped up my goal to 6 weddings. Thanks to the support from my family and new friend/clients, I was able to double that 2nd goal to over a dozen weddings in 2008! 2008 truly was a dream come true for me! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
