Robert & Emily's Wedding!

Hi! Yep I finally have a wedding post up! This wedding was back in August. Beautiful day! It also was really fun to hang out with family during all of the events. Enjoy the picts!

Loved this moment of Robert with his little sister!

Ok, this next one John took. I love the moment:

Love these ones, especially the one of Robert looking back . . .

Oooh!! One of my favs! Can't get enough of that awesome sky, their awesome dip, and all the color!

I think this next one was also taken by John.

They had their reception at the beautiful Sun River Gardens. This was the second time this summer that I photographed at a beautiful nursery. Oh yeah and I got a good laugh at their "cardboard missionary" friend.

So I had to share this awesome idea! They used sterling silver forks as tiny photo easels! They did their own matte on the 4x6 proofs and put them on all of the tables. I thought it was such a great idea!

Fun sisters!

Their cake was so beautiful!

So the Goldfish do have a story behind them. Actually they are apart of Robert & Emily's very first conversation. Emily absolutely LOVES goldfish! When she first met Robert, she had just won a goldfish at the carnival, and was very excited about it. However, after she won it, to her dismay, the fish proceeded to die. Then I believe one of the first things Robert said jokingly to her was something to the effect of, "Well I guess you should never have kids."

In memory of that goldfish that started it all, the centerpieces included bowls of goldfish. All night I went around making sure that all of the goldfish remained alive, and they did. Well I think that's a good sign that none of the fish (to my knowledge) died during the reception. Good luck is to follow! :)

Any ways, just thought I'd share that funny story along with the goldfish picture! (and yes the Bride did give me permission to stick their nice rings in the fish bowl, not sure if the groom did though . . . ;) I think it was worth it though!

Have to thank my nieces for the ring shot idea below. Well at least the R + E design in rose petals.

I'll end with my favorite moment during the dancing. Love that blue skylight right before dark, and also I love the way Robert is holding his new wife close while dancing.

Congratulations Emily & Robert! You're day was so beautiful and perfect! Glad to have you in the family now Emily! :)

Thanks for stopping by! Lots more wedding posts to come!

All 3.5 lbs of her . . .

That's right . . . this little sweety came to me when she was just 3.5 lbs! This little gal is a miracle baby for her family, and I was so honored to photograph her and her beautiful siblings. You may remember these gorgeous kids from last Fall, and now they have a beautiful, new, and very small baby sister. I thought I'd share a few of my favorites:

He is the cutest proud older brother!
So you can get more of an idea how small she is. . . pay attention to the headband. It's a popular one, and usually fits normal on a regular sized baby, it almost looks like a hat on her ;)
Her mommy also said that even premmie clothes are too big on her. So tiny and cute!

I was so happy that she was having some great dreams . . . and totally comfortable in my almost 90 degree room!

Thanks for bringing sweet Aubry in! She's absolutely perfect!

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know what you think!

Some of Aug-Sept Sessions - Long Post!

Yep, I have found that the past couple months, I've been very far behind! While trying to fulfill all of the "hats" that I am responsible for, I have found no room for blogging lately :(

There have been lots of fun sessions that I just couldn't not post pictures of, so we're doing a few from some of the recent family and portrait sessions.

This first baby here . . . SO CUTE!! I still have got to one of these days post her newborn pictures because those were some of my very favorites! I was so happy when her mom brought her in for her 3 month pictures as well. And what do you know?! She fell asleep! It took us a while to finally wake her up because she was just too cute and let us move her around all we wanted to. Thanks for bringing in adorable Baby Allie!

Andy! He's one of 2010's awesome seniors! I had a total blast hanging out with him, his mom, and sister for his pictures! We got some awesome ones, that I'll use for the senior gallery (whenever that gets updated . . . since it's 4 awesome sessions out of date!)

Good luck this year Andy!

Family H was so fun! They are also returning clients since Baby Zander's newborn session. Wow he's grown and is still sooo cute!

But teething during the session wasn't fun for him . . . :(

(I got a good laugh out of this pic!)

Oh! It was also some little person's 2 year old birthday during September . . .

Tim & Roxanne - such a cute fun couple!

Family H-2 such a wonderful family! Beautiful children & mom!!
Family K: my cousin and her cute family from AZ. It was fun to meet their new addition!

Seriously, one of my favorites!!! So candid

Well I've got lots of wedding posts to do . . . lots of sneak peeks from this weekend . . . Thanks to you who've stuck around even despite my lack of blogging!

Also remember that there are still openings for the fall mini sessions!

Have a great day! :)
