The "Puppy" Chip & Kitty
Here's the 'puppy,' Chip! He's not technically a puppy, he's just a Teacup Yorkie. I just love how he will stay a puppy forever! These are my friend's "babies!" We did these pictures in 2 rounds, and you'll see why soon!
Her cat, Satasha, is so beautiful! Normally she's a well tempered cat, but when she's out of her element, we got some good cat attitude!
And cute Chip is just too cute!

The cat definitely had a bubble when it came to being around Chip. We had several moments where she started pawing and hissing at him. Luckily she is de-clawed, or else it might have not turned out so well . . . But here's a picture with both of them together (semi-happy)
Well I had tons of fun taking these pictures!

Jason and Lindsey's Bridals Part 2
Remember this beautiful bride? Well we're back for more! And I had WAY too many favorites, so here we go with probably my most pictures posted . . . but there are still going to be some surprise pictures for Lindsey and Jason. Lindsey wanted to do her Bridals with her fiance, which I totally would recommend to anyone (I did it myself). It's a chance to get more of a variety of pictures with eachother in a fun location which might not be a possibility on the wedding day. But of course we still got tons of pictures with just Lindsey.
So now on with the pictures . . .
The only reason I would share this picture with you, besides to get a fun laugh, is just to show how real Lindsey is! She is so beautiful and photogenic (as you can tell in the next picture), but she also has a fun personality, and I seriously could make a collage of all the funny faces she pulled! Plus, I don't think I have the talent to pull that kind of a face!
Ok . . . so here's beautiful Lindsey again!
And the beautiful couple!
Love the shoes Lindsey!
And . . . . jumping off the haystack! (that's for you Matty!)
The jumping was totally Lindsey's idea! I take no credit. This just shows how adventurous she still is even after being bucked off a horse.
I had such a fun evening! They were fun to work with, we were at a beautiful place, and the weather was perfect. What more could I ask for? Thanks so much to Lindsey's younger sister for all the help! They have tons and tons of beautiful pictures which I'll have to start editing now to get them finished by the wedding :) I'm sure it'll be before that because I love the pictures too much! I am so excited to photograph their upcoming wedding in August!

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there! My family and I had a great Father's Day. Not only were we all celebrating our fathers, but my Grandpa also had his 80th birthday today! Now both my Grandpa and Grandma are 80! I decided that I needed to get some professional looking pictures of them, not that I think they'll die soon, but you just never know, and pictures are a wonderful way of preserving memories of the people you love. My mom and I put together a big DVD slideshow highlighting his 80 years with pictures and video clips set to their favorite music. We used the most recent pictures that I took and set it to the music "Through the Years," which turned out beautifully. I want to post that video clip sometime soon. Maybe later this week. Pictures are powerful, but set to music, it can bring additional emotion and spirit. I hope they loved the video which highlighted their long life together of 57 years! I look up to both of them in many ways. I am so grateful that they allowed me to take their pictures. I know that their posterity will treasure them.

Jason and Lindsey's Bridals Part 1
This was by far my shortest photo session: approximately 30 minutes. There was a reason why, but you'll have to wait till the end to get the story. It's amazing how many different pictures I can get that quickly though.
Lindsey and Jason are so cute together! I love this position, but I have to admit that I got the positioning idea from another fellow photographer. It's just kind of unique and fun!
We had to try the hammock, so fun!
I was sneaking up on them
Beautiful Lindsey!

Beautiful Lindsey!
Ok, so this is where we got daring and brave. Lindsey loves horseback riding, and so we went up to her aunt's ranch in Payson to ride on their horses. This horse's name is Flame. He looked so perfect next the bouquet.
Here's where things go wrong. So whether it was me on a really tall ladder next to this young horse, or the 7 people around Flame, or the really strong wind, or that this horse was away from the place that he is usually the most familiar . . . well this was my last official picture right before it happened . . . If you look closely, you can guess what happened next. And no, I didn't get the action shot.

If you look closely, you can guess what happened next. And no, I didn't get the action shot.
Yes here is where I should have inserted a very dramatic action shot of Lindsey gracefully being bucked off this horse, but to be honest I was so concerned with whether she was going to be okay or not, that I didn't click the picture. And not to mention I was on a really tall ladder right next to this frazzled horse, and was a little frightened that he would run into me next.
The horse had been acting jittery and maybe that should have been our sign to use a different horse, but he just suddenly went completely on his hind legs, bucking Lindsey off. But it wasn't just to the ground that she fell. We were right next to a 2 or 3 foot drop into a little creek, so she completely slid all the way down to the bottom. Well when the horse came back down off his hind legs, he stepped right on Jason's foot.
Yeah. . . . that was the end of our bridal session. Her hair was wet from the creek, the dress was muddy, luckily not ripped, and they were both hurting from their horse injuries. Luckily Lindsey did not have any major scrapes. She will probably be really sore tomorrow, but she was so brave! I probably would have cried and never dared get on a horse again, but she didn't cry at all and forgave the horse pretty quickly. She said she has been bucked off a horse before, but I'm guessing it wasn't in a wedding dress or when she was riding bareback!
And she's still wanting to do the part 2 session with horses as well (probably not on the horses though).
Jason helping dry and clean her off.
Well as soon as the weather starts cooperating again, and the dress is dry-cleaned, and they are wanting to brave the horse thing again, we'll be back for part 2! Since we all had several hours to spare, we went and scoped out the places we'll go next time, and I'm really excited! They are such a fun couple who are really up for anything! I also appreciated all the help that I got from Lindsey's mom, aunt, uncle, and cousins.
Till next time soon . . . !
