Milo - Utah Child Session

Ok, look that that sweet face!!! Isn't he just the cutest??!!! I had so fun when Milo's parent's brought him from Idaho to my house so I could photograph him (and visit family at the same time). And let me tell you . . . 6 months is a magical time. Babies can finally start sitting up, smile, giggle, and interact. And they're not too old to run away from me! (even though those ages are fun and adventurous too!).

We tried a few artfully taken "birthday suit" pictures of Milo. I think he had peed on my floor by this point, but it was worth it for the cute picture!

And we also took a few family pictures with Milo's parents.

Mike & Charaty's Wedding

This is a beautiful wedding ceremony which happened at the beginning of March. (I know, I'm a slacker when it comes to blogging). I thought I'd share some of my favorites from the ceremony as well as some of my favorites from the groomal session which they chose to do a week beforehand. Which I thought was so smart to do so we got lots of beautiful images of the two of them to display at the wedding/luncheon.

Ok, so here are some from the groomal session the week beforehand. They were so brave for the times I made them go out in the snow. But we got some beautiful moments.

I really liked this next one of Charaty for some reason. Just beautiful!

And if you can't tell, I absolutely loved the ones taken here. That sky was so beautiful! And don't forget to mention the beautifully in-love couple!

New Site and other stuff!

Hi Everyone! It's me again . . . of course :)

Here's a couple new things that I want to announce:

First off: my PORTRAIT WEBSITE is now officially live!!! This is a great day because it's been over 1 year since I updated it . . . and it was in much need of an update after one year of progressing, more great pictures, and plus my homemade website just wasn't cutting it for me when it is alongside my amazing wedding website which I had one of my web-designer neighbors specially make for me. The website really does make my work look tons better! So go check out ALL of the pages! I am still in need of getting a picture of me up there . . .ugh! That'll be my next project to put on my to-do list. Let's be honest, the little baby who is on the "About" page now is just way more cute than me!


Secondly, well along with a new website, comes changes with prices so check that out. I think my prices will remain where they are now for a while. I feel like the price is fair and competitive for what you're getting. Also remember, returning clients will get 15% off of the new current prices. And I've finally started having people come back to me for their yearly pictures. That's so fun for me!

Thirdly is that I've now created a Facebook Group for Angela Marie Photography! Come join my group if you're a previous or future client, or just a fan!

Lastly, you might have noticed some new "buttons" on the right side of this blog (they may take a little bit of time to load.) I've seen a couple other photographers do this and thought it was a cute fun idea! If you have a blog and are a fan and want to share my photography with others, just publish a button on your blog! Simply copy the code in the box below the picture you like, and then when you're in the Layout on your blog, Add a Gadget, and add the HTML/Java Script gadget, and paste! Blue Waters

Boys, Boys, Boys!

I have just had the cutest little boys to work with lately! So sweet! These first two, seriously made my job sooo easy and fun! Both were just full of smiles! The last picture is of my little guy. He is a happy guy, but it's hard to get him to hold still for more than two seconds in front of my camera. But after one of these sessions, I gave it a go and I at least got one really cute one of him! Well more of these cute boys coming up soon!


Oh yeah, and I've also discovered that my wood floor is actually my favorite backdrop vs. actual ones that I got. Just more natural and so flattering on skin (especially baby skin!). I'm glad my husband, John convinced me to get wood floor instead of carpet. I never knew it'd come in handy with my photography!

Melissa & Tyler's Engagements

Tyler walked into the room one Sunday evening. Multitudes of people all around and socializing. He didn't know he'd meet someone important this evening. Once the opening song started, his eyes slowly moved to the piano where a girl he hadn't met yet, sat at the piano. Whether it was a small voice in his head or his curious interest, he knew he should meet her when he got his chance.
Melissa was charmed by this good looking guy, but wasn't so easy to catch since she was waiting for a missionary who wouldn't be home for a couple years. But sometimes life takes us in a direction we don't expect and to meet people who will change our lives for the better. That's what Tyler came to mean to Melissa.
And here they are now! Engaged. Happy. Ready to seal their love and be together . . . forever.

Melissa's musical talents were evident from day one, but Tyler happens to also be musical too and loves to serenade Melissa when he gets the chance.

Well I'm sure having fun telling all these fun engaged couples' stories. I hope I'm getting it close. I felt more connected to Melissa and Tyler as they told me their story because mine was similar to how I met my husband, except I wasn't playing the piano.
